He came to us one day in May, 1985, and looked to be about six to eight weeks old.  We estimate that his birthday was sometime in February/March, 1985; he passed away February 26, 2000 -- lived to be a ripe old 15 years of age!

Our daughter, Dee Dee, found him by a dumpster; he was looking for something to eat.  Kitty was weak, tired and orphaned.  She brought  him home, named him Tiggy and nursed him back to excellent health; he was forever in debt to her for the kind and loving concern she provided.  Though named Tiggy, we just always called him Baby Kitty.

We believe because of that initial, unconditional love given to Baby Kitty, he in turn dedicated his life to giving the same love back to all of mankind; especially the Morton family.  We loved him very much and will never, ever forget him.

Over the years, Baby Kitty grew, played hard, slept hard (on his back most of the time) and stood by his determination to give his "no-questions-asked" and "nothing-in-return-expected" LOVE to us all.

He participated in all of the family events: holidays, birthdays, good times and bad.  He was always available to be your friend; anytime.  When someone was sad, Baby Kitty would crawl up into their lap or on their bed or chair and show true concern for the situation by purring and cuddling.
